2-Aminobenzophenone is a derivative of Benzophenone, used in the manufacturing of antihistamines, hypnotics, insecticides. 2-Aminobenzophenone was shown to exhibit modulation activity of GABAA receptor-mediated currents in isolated purkinje neurons.
