3,4-Difluoro-1-nitrobenzene was used in the synthesis of nitrogen-carbon-linked (azolylphenyl)oxazolidinones with antibacterial activities. It was also used in the preparation of (homo)piperazinylphenyl- and piperidinylphenyl-substituted oxazolidinones with antibacterial activities.
