N-Boc-hydroxylamine is the protected form of Hydroxylamine (HCl: H943705). Hydroxylamine is used as an inhibitor between Z and P680 in photosystem II within plant chloroplasts. Hydroxylamine is also known to induce chromosomal damage in mammalian cells, inducing mutagenesis.
