4-Methyl-5-nitro-2-pyridinamine is chemical in the synthesis of drugs as new amides based on arachdonic-acid, with potential anti-inflammatory activity. Also is used in the preparation of novel benzylamine analogues of anacardic acid as antibacterial agents.
