Lesinurad (brand name Zurampic, zer-AM-pik) is a urate transporter inhibitor for treating hyperuricemia associated with gout in patients who have not achieved target serum uric acid levels with a xanthine oxidase inhibitor alone. It received FDA approval on December 22, 2015. The European Commission granted a marketing authorisation valid throughout the European Union on 18 February 2016.
