This is an outstanding CD. Featuring mainly piano with a few accompanying drums, this album is a pleasure to listen to from beginning to end. The melodies are beautiful, and Brulé successfully and quite effortlessly transports the listener to another land.
Despite not normally associating Native American music with the piano, the album works really well and is, in my opinion, Brulé's best work. It is also, by far, the most accessible to the general public.

Particular favourites are tracks 2,4 and 7, but there are no weak tracks on this album. The only disappointment with this purchase is the short play-time (about 38 minutes), but if, like me, you believe quality is more important than quantity, this shouldn't be much of an issue.

The recording quality is impressive.

A treat from beginning to end. Very highly recommended.

Brule五位成员均是印地安那Brule族的后裔，当然最核心的成员是Paul LaRoche，Paul LaRoche从小生长在一个比较传统的白人家庭，在1992年寻祖的时候才发觉自己属于Brule族，从此以后他把印地安那土著人的声音融入到新世纪音乐里。

此碟是Brule乐队发布的第二张。有趣的是，这是一张纯钢琴作品，和他们上张专集融合风格相比完全两样，也许他们想尝试改变下。不过当你沉迷于这优美的琴声中，和着背景部落长老深沉的声音，你会慢慢地喜欢这张CD。

yct90hfs Brule组合的砖的确不错类～没想到还有这么张solo piano
听Brule 的曲子很感觉自己站在悬崖峭壁上往下附望一片片戈壁的味道
